Rivkin and Casey: Why ObamaCare Is Losing in the Courts

June 16, 2011

The Pub: That’s what I have been saying. Basically they are pointing out that the government has yet to address the individual mandate. I am confident that because of this unconstitutional individual mandate…..Obamacare will be found unconstitutional. And therefore the whole thing will likely have to be tossed because so much of Obamacare rides on the individual mandate. Don’t have confidence in that? Well let’s hope for a great election day in 2012 where we can get it repealed. via Rivkin and Casey: Why ObamaCare Is Losing in the Courts – WSJ.com. When we first articulated ObamaCare’s fundamental constitutional...

Obama: ATMs Contribute To Unemployment For Eliminating Tellers

June 16, 2011

The Pub: Got to tell you. This is a very lame quote on Obama’s part. Is this his excuse for the state of the economy? ATM’s have been around for how long? Airport kiosks have been around for how long? I think I read that the “ATM Association” (or something like that…I am not making this up) immediately came out and pointed out that the number of people employed to fix/maintain ATM’s, install ATM’s and the people required to securely transport the cash has risen very high. Blaming automation on loss of jobs is very weak. The is almost...

New ICE audits target 1,000 firms

June 16, 2011

The Pub: I wonder if the point of this is to make Obama look tough on illegal immigration. I think we can all agree that he is not tough on this subject. I am going to be very curious to see the results of this. What companies are being investigated? Will we ever know? If infractions are found will know? The article points out that these investigations cost millions in taxpayer dollars and what does it get? Well the article also points out that ICE conducted 2,196 audits during the 2010 fiscal year, leading to the criminal arrests of...

Media Search Sarah Palin Emails for Scandal and Find a Potential President Instead

June 13, 2011

The Pub: Oh….but they will and have tried to make dirt out of thin air. Tried to make her look foolish in some articles I have read. They will keep trying. They will use little pieces of nothing in the emails to try and get traction on something. via Media Search Sarah Palin Emails for Scandal and Find a Potential President Instead – Yahoo! News. Having hunted for dirt in the tens of thousands of Sarah Palin emails, what have the media found? A piece in Politico attempts to give Palin a backhanded compliment by finding a “long lost...

Obama plans to discuss jobs at company shifting focus to China

June 13, 2011

The Pub: This is one of those articles that make the company involved look bad. How dare they? Take our tax dollars that was given to them and then plan on building out overseas? You can’t blame the company. The company, any company has to do what it can to best survive. Even if this article doesn’t come right out and say it…the problem is Obama. It’s his fault for not creating an environment where this company or others want to stay or expand in America. via Obama plans to discuss jobs at company shifting focus to China –...

Tim Pawlenty decries “Obamneycare,” puts Mitt Romney on the defensive once again

June 13, 2011

The Pub: Obamneycare! I love it. Why couldn’t I have thought of that? And I think we have heard Mitt Romney try to defend his Obamneycare in Mass. I think he failed miserably at his explanation. But what do I know? I think his explanation was basically that he thought, and still thinks it is a good thing for his state…but not for the country. Hmmm….. If you follow the link to the original article, I echo the authors feelings on Romney. How can anyone that opposes Obamacare possibly vote for Romney? Especially since he gave Obama the model...

Palin So “Irrelevant,” Media Begs For Help In Sifting Through Her Emails

June 10, 2011

The Pub: How interesting. The media says she’s irrelevant but wants you to help dig up dirt on here on the 20,000 emails of hers that the State Of Alaska is releasing today. Basically they want you to follow a link and report to them what you find “interesting”. Basically doing their work for them. Hey, but go to this articles original source and follow the links. The writer of this article has a great idea. Flood the NY Time and Washington Post with irrelevant emails about the….emails. Wouldn’t it be great if they ended up with 5 times...

Obama’s EPA Getting it Done: AEP Closing 5 Coal Fired Plants

June 10, 2011

The Pub: Anther subject that drives me nuts. Basically the EPA running wild writing regulations costing companies billions. And while it cost companies billions……do you think that helps unemployment. Just crazy. via Obama’s EPA Getting it Done: AEP Closing 5 Coal Fired Plants. Obama said before the 2008 election that the price of electricity would necessarily skyrocket under his cap and trade plan. He said America must go this route because global warming was going to do us in and coal is just so dirty. You’ll probably remember this: So there you have the socialist Obama admitting what his...

Mitt Romney: No apologies on climate change stance – Darren Samuelsohn

June 9, 2011

The Pub: Another reason for a no vote on Romney. In his defense….Climate Change is real. It has been happening for thousands of years. But that is not what he is talking about. He believes that “Global Warming” is man made. Now…honestly to his credit he is not for Cap and Tax. But the fact that he thinks “something” needs to be done to curb global warming is another huge strike against him. via Mitt Romney: No apologies on climate change stance – Darren Samuelsohn – POLITICO.com. Mitt Romney won’t be doing any apology tours on climate change. The...
