Romneycare Failure, Public Disappointment Bode Ill for Obamacare

June 2, 2011

The Pub: This is the main reason he will not get my vote. Even if he admits it’s a failure. NO conservative in his “right mind” would ever go for anything like this. **********Below Is Likely A Small Excerpt Of The Original Article********** via Romneycare Failure, Public Disappointment Bode Ill for Obamacare – by John R. Graham. When Mitt Romney signed Massachusetts’ health care reform law in 2006, he surely didn’t realize the political consequences down the road. Many conservative and libertarian observers have expressed frustration at his inability to recognize the negative outcomes that resulted from “Romneycare.” Taxes,...

Republicans Would Be Crazy To Attend Health Care Summit

February 9, 2010
By

If you follow my comments on the news articles I post you will know I am completely against the Republicans attending this so called Health Care Summit with Barack Obama. (if you don’t follow my news headlines comments, you should start. Take a look at the home page or follow us on Facebook) The Republicans are being set up pretty bad here in my opinion. And to a degree, depending on how you look at it, they are kind of between a rock and a hard place. For starters if they attend this summit, they will not be allowed...

Did President Obama Want Scott Brown To Win Mass. Election

January 22, 2010
By

Oh, don’t get me wrong. Mr. Obama would love nothing more than to get his socialist agenda pushed through. He would love nothing more than for every American to be required to carry health insurance or face a fine. He would love nothing more than to for all intents and purposes break the back of the health insurance industry. And from the plans he was advocating he would love nothing more than to raise your insurance premiums, cause unemployment to go higher and put the final crippling touch on our economy. But, let’s face it. He and the Democrats...

ABC Interview: Oh Mr. Obama We Hear You And We Don't Like It

January 21, 2010
By

In this ABC interview Obama states that he doesn’t think he has done a good enough job conveying his message to the people and that is one reason Scott Brown was able to win in Massachusetts. Well, I am here to tell you Mr. President that we have heard you. We have heard you loud and clear and that is why Scott Brown got elected. Let’s look at what we have heard you loud and clear on. ** Health Care ** Outrageous Spending ** Bail Out, Stimulus….more spending ** Unemployment ** Weak On Terrorism (oh yeah, you don’t really...

1 Year Anniversary For Obama – Scott Brown Wins Mass. – Democrats Not Seeing The Light

January 20, 2010
By

Scott Brown has defeated Martha Coakley for Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat. And while this should open Democrats eyes a little many including Howard Dean are saying the health care was not reason for Browns win. This monumental election result came the day before President Barack Obama’s 1 year anniversary in office. What has he done in this year. Nothing. Oh, he did win the Nobel Peace Prize. But other than that he has campaigned for at least 3 candidates for a political seat….and lost all three of those. That has to really cut down his ego. In part...

If Brown Wins In Mass. What Will Democrats Do?

January 19, 2010
By

As we all know today is the big day in Massachusetts where Scott Brown is hopefully going to beat Martha Coakley. Things seem like they are in a pretty tight dead heat although many polls are showing Scott Brown in the lead. I have to say, all the polling that is showing Brown up with the voters has me excited. I keep thinking that hopefully we can 41 votes in the Senate. Just stopping the Liberals but not even really being able to do anything is fine with me for now. We just have to stop them. But then...

Obama And Policies Are So Loved That He Stays Away From Massachusetts Senate Race

January 15, 2010
By

Before reading this, keep in mind that as hated as Dick Cheyne is (by the Libs), he can still back a candidate in Big W’s home state of Texas. Keep in mind that while Obama’s home state is not Massachusetts, it is the, or one of the leading states in registered Democrat voters. Easy win for Dem’s right? One would think that President Obama would be all over Massachusetts right now attempting to secure Democrat Martha Coakley’s win for the open Senate seat over Republican Scott Brown. One would think she would be begging the great and loved one...

Obama Shuts The Shades On Transparency For Health Care And More

January 14, 2010
By

***No C-Span Coverage As Promised ***Won’t Advocate Bill Being Available On Line 72 Hours Before Voting Even Though Many Americans Advocate 14 Days Before ***Dem’s Vote Down Republican Amendment Ensuring Bill To Be On Line At Least 72 Hours Before Vote ***Obama Has Had No Press Conference Since July ***False Transparency With Job Numbers On his Campaign trail now President Obama promised at least 8 different times to have the whole health care debate/process out in the open on C-Span for the all the public to see. Now that’s not the case. I suppose he changed his mind when...

It's Not Ted Kennedy's Seat, It's The People Of Massachusetts Seat

January 13, 2010
By

It is funny how people think of the currently open Senate seat in Massachusetts as being Ted Kennedy’s seat. As the Republican Candidate for that vacant seat points out in the most recently debate on January 11th, it’s not Ted’s seat. It is the people of Massachusetts seat. And he does a great job of explaining that point in this debate. No backing down. And really, the moderators question is so loaded that it would seem the answer could be a failing one. But in my opinion Scott Brown handled it great. The moderator wants him to answer “yes,...

Texas Attorney General And 12 Others Take Healthcare Fight To Washington

January 9, 2010
By

I seem to remember reading months ago when all these health care bills started coming out that Texas basically said “forget that, we will invoke the 10th amendment, our people don’t want/need this”. 10th Amendment – The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. The theory being that the U.S. Government doesn’t have the right to push socialized healthcare down the American people’s throats. Now, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott has sent letters to U.S. Sens. Kay Bailey Hutchison,...
