NRA’s LaPierre: ‘Fast and Furious’ Was Plot Against Second Amendment

October 15, 2011
By

The Pub: Interesting take that I had never considered. And while to me it falls into the conspiracy theory category…..it makes sense. The government-sanctioned gunrunning operation, Fast and Furious, was a plot to undermine Second Amendment rights in the United States, National Rifle Association president Wayne LaPierre charged on Friday in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV. “It’s the only thing that makes any sense,” LaPierre said. “Over a period of two or three years they were running thousands and thousands of guns to the most evil people on earth. At the same time they were yelling ’90 per cent…...

Gingrich: 70% Of Republicans ‘Want Someone Other Than Romney’

October 15, 2011
By

The Pub: I couldn’t agree more with Newt. GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich says 70% of Republicans want “someone other than Mitt Romney” – but, they don’t know who. Yesterday, radio talk show host Sean Hannity asked the former House Speaker what he “made of the ups and downs in this (Republican presidential) race.” Gingrich responded by saying he felt that “most Republicans, probably 70% of them, know that they want someone other than Romney but they don’t have anybody” and that that is why the race has seen so many candidates pull up in the polls and then...

Big Brother Obama is watching – AttackWatch.com

September 15, 2011
By

THE PUB: Oh doesn’t it just want to make you attack. I don’t know if this will be considered an attack or not….but what a DUMB IDEA. Just like all the ideas you have Mr. Obama. Really, you need a website to help you find the people in this country talking bad about you? How about you just look at the news and the polls? That should give you a pretty good idea. Stimulus #1 – BUNK Health Care – BUNK and unconstitutional World Views – BUNK (America is not bad Mr. President. MOST LEVEL HEADED Americans realize that)....

New Dem Spin: Solyndra ‘Not the Face of Stimulus’ – Big Government

September 15, 2011
By

THE PUB: What a story. More stimulus money that went to a company that went bankrupt anyway. Kind of sound like an auto manufacturer that we know? But this is story gets better. It appears that there is at least a hint that the Obama administration pushing this through for a couple of reasons. 1. To get a “green jobs” company as the front for his stimulus. 2. And to make a major donor of his happy – George Kaiser. Who if I follow correctly also invested in Solyndra. BUT IT GETS EVEN BETTER! I know, how can it?...

Obama Tells Congress to Cut Taxes in His Jobs Plan

September 9, 2011
By

The Pub: I don’t know. Pretty much sounded like the same speech repeated again. You know, the typical….government needs to spend money to create jobs, rich need to pay more in taxes and the Republicans better fall in line…..speech. Come on! It’s getting old. Attacking a deepening jobs crisis, President Barack Obama challenged a reluctant Congress Thursday night to urgently pass a larger-than-expected $450 billion plan to “jolt an economy that has stalled.” He urged lawmakers to slash Social Security taxes for tens of millions of Americans and for almost every business to encourage hiring. “Stop the political circus,”...

August 9, 2011
By

The Pub: Really? Didn’t we already here not so long ago from Obama that the “shovel ready” jobs weren’t there? That the stimulus package he passed before didn’t work. Isn’t the definition of insane something like – trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results. He got this BS debt deal signed in and now he wants to spend money. via Obama Calls for More Federal Money for Roads, Bridges and Airports to Create Jobs | CNSnews.com. In his weekly address on Saturday, President Barack Obama called for Congress to approve more money for a new—and...

Energy bill concerns light bulb firms

July 12, 2011
By

The Pub: You know….do we really need the government tell us what light bulbs we can and can’t use. The biggest thing that concerns me is what’s next. Only certain kinds of windows? Or how about limiting the number of windows new homes can have to help better preserve the heat inside in the winter? Only certain kinds of sheet rock on your walls? Only certain kinds of insulation in your attics? I know, there are already regulations on a lot of that. But light bulbs? Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for it. I have some “alternate” kinds...

GOP pushes back on effort to limit kids’ food ads

July 6, 2011
By

The Pub: And yet another one I will never understand. In my opinion the only way you “advertise to kids” is by advertising to kids who aren’t parented. And that is by no means the companies fault for advertising. I try not to let my kids watch to much TV….in reality they probably watch more than I would like. But when they see a commercial for something they want I say “no”. Or maybe I say yes….point is….I parent. I know how to say NO. The whole kids meal thing. That one gets my blood boiling. My kids all...
