Voters Rate Economy as Top Issue for 2010

A majority of U.S. registered voters, 57%, say the economy will be “extremely important” to their vote for Congress this year, significantly higher than say this for any other issue. Healthcare (49%), unemployment (46%), and the federal budget deficit (45%) make up the second tier of issues.
